Design Projects 3 Visualisations
For this project, I was required to submit 3 A1 pages of visualisations. A page of Sketchup visuals for my Alney island master plan, viewed from isometric and eye-level views, a page of hand-drawn visuals with the same criteria and a page of visuals of my bench proposal. I found the Sketchup visuals the most difficult to produce, due to many technical difficulties and I struggled to achieve my desired aesthetic. Eventually, after trial and error, I managed to create an AutoCAD plan that I was satisfied with. I imported the plan into Sketchup in separate parts, in order to create the raise the bridge up towards the wetland centre. The bridge itself is angled so that it starts at the quayside and ends at the Wetland Centre. Once I created my Sketchup models, I took the plans into Lumion, where I further brought them to life.
